During the May 20 graduation ceremony, the Jefferson High School Band paid tribute to the Trimble brothers, William and Alex, who died in a tragic auto accident, and the audience was asked to think of 2016 graduate Jordyn Ellen Engleberg who is hospitalized after a serious accident near the scene of the Trimble's fatal wreck. There was applause when Jordyn was announced among the graduates.
